Genis lets you choose who you talk to. Personas shape the personality of your AI companion across both live voice sessions and text chat, and each can be paired with the expressive voice that feels right to you.

Built-in Personas

Custom Personas

You can also create your own personas. Describe the personality you want, give it a name, and Genis will carry that character into every conversation.

Choosing a Voice

Each AI provider offers a roster of expressive voices — from Gemini's large voice library to OpenAI's realtime voices and xAI's expressive options, including custom voice support. Pick a voice in Genis Live settings; your selection applies to voice calls and spoken responses.

Conversation Style

Prefer a quick answer or a real conversation? Switch between Conversational (warm, chatty) and Short & Sweet (brief, to the point) at any time.
