At Genis, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Your emotional data belongs to you, and we design our products to protect that information.

Data Collection & HealthKit

Genis integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write your mood data. This allows for a seamless experience across your devices and ensures your mindfulness data is centralized.

We ask for permission to read and write "State of Mind" data. Reading allows us to display your history, and writing enables you to log new moods directly from the Genis app.

Important Note

Your health data never leaves your device or your personal iCloud account. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How We Use Data

Data is processed locally on your device to provide insights and visualization (like the mood history and sphere). If you enable the AI assistant, messages are processed securely, but your core health data remains isolated unless explicitly shared.

Security & Storage

Genis relies on Apple's secure infrastructure (iCloud) to sync data between your iPhone and Apple Watch. We do not maintain our own servers for storing your health data.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to improve the application. This data is not linked to your identity or health data.
